Our Philosophy
Most landscaping companies are good at one thing. They can build you a patio or plant a garden, but rarely both, and rarely with the kind of knowledge that makes the difference between a space that looks great for a season and one that gets better every year.
Terreworks is a design-build firm, which means we handle everything from the first sketch to the final walkthrough. No handoffs between a designer who never visits the site and a contractor who never saw the original vision. We design what we build and build what we design, and that continuity shows in the finished product.
We do both sides of the work well. Hardscape and horticulture. Structure and planting. A paver patio that sits level in ten years and a garden designed around how the Pacific Northwest actually grows things. We know this climate, we know these plants, and we know how to put them in the right place with the right soil and the right irrigation so they thrive without becoming a burden to maintain. You do not need to love gardening to have a beautiful garden. You just need people who do.
Every project starts with what you want and ends when you love it. We are easy to talk to, straightforward about what things cost, and honest about what will and will not work. You get thoughtful, considered design and the hands-on expertise to execute it, all from one team that stays with you start to finish.

Our Story
Kristin and Eric started Terreworks six years ago with a straightforward idea: that most people deserve a better experience when they try to improve their property, and that the gap between what someone imagines and what actually gets built is usually a people problem, not a design problem.
Kristin handles design and client relationships. She is the person who sits down with you at the beginning, asks the right questions, and turns a loose idea into something specific and buildable. Her background in horticulture and design means she is thinking about how the space functions and feels, not just how it photographs. Clients tend to leave that first conversation feeling like someone actually listened to them, because she did.
Eric runs daily operations and project execution. He knows what it takes to get work done in the field, how to manage crews, hold timelines, and solve the problems that come up on every job without letting them become your problem. The designs Kristin creates get built the way they were intended because Eric is the one making sure of it.
Between the two of them, Terreworks covers the full range of what a project actually requires, from the first idea to the last detail. That is rarer than it sounds, and it is the reason clients come back.
